Energy update 18 - 24 of December

I feel blessed and grateful.

This week we have a beautiful, peaceful energy to tune into, if you like to feel as if you are being covered in a layer of cosy blankets. It’s telling us to move inside and just wonder the sights, the light, the warmth, the smells, family, friends, yourself. And spread that love without trying to control or push it, just be yourself and focus on the positive in your surroundings, in your day, in your festivities. 

Remember to take moments to feel blessed and grateful no matter circumstance.

Step away from trying to convince or argue about petty things and instead focus on what is beautiful around you in the moment. Maybe you will have some aha-moments around lessons that has been learned by you or your surroundings, from staying peaceful and with a positive focus. So, a beautiful Christmas week to bring in that love into your body and then allow it to spread out with joy and peace.

There is one thing to look out for and that is that Mercury is in retrograde, and can cause some miscommunication, delays in travel and the good old internet that might be a bit fickle. Read any communication thoroughly before answering and make sure you have a buffer zone around these areas, and it will be fine.

The workweek gets off to a mentally productive start. Kick off your Monday by catching up on emails, communications, and a backlog of tasks (just remember to not hast but read and write with a double check).

On Tuesday the moon enters its 2’e quarter and waxing towards the coming Full Moon. Now is a good time for development and growth of life, and with projects coming close to fruition. With Mercury in its position a lovely time to review and reflect on your journey.

This day also has a dreamy energy that is best put to use on visionary, creative projects. Try to set your ego aside as you pursue the bigger or humanitarian and artist goals. A galactic knowledge is moving through you, to activate and inspire you.

On Wednesday the speed picks up a little bit and you may start to feel more determined and confident.

Thursday or Friday depending on where you live it is time for Winters Solstice in the northern hemisphere and Summer Solstice in the Southern. For us in the north we have the shortest day of the year and now it turns, so a traditional day to celebrate the light returning as well as start of the winter season.

In Latin, solstice is made of two words: sol– meaning “the sun” and sistere meaning “to make stand.” Winter Solstice is one the most powerful points of the year as the axis of the Earth pauses, shifts and moves in the opposite direction. For three days around the solstice points we experience the power of the standstill point and the shift of direction. The sun standing still is a powerful metaphor for the energy available to us at the Winter Solstice to change the direction of our lives with intention and build on this energy as we enter into the new year. After experiencing the longest night and darkest day, the nights grow shorter and the days grow brighter until the Summer Solstice.

I’ve recorded a meditation tuning into the energy of the solstice that will be out before Thursday on the portal, at “Raise your vibe” as well as on Insight Timer.

We have another event on Thursday and that is the Sun moving from Scorpio to Capricorn. Now the Sun is in a feminine, cardinal, earth vibe with a tendency to build and organize. Caution and discipline may be felt as well as a strong sense of tradition, for the upcoming 4 weeks.

On Fridays there is an extremely productive vibe that will allow you to finish all work and holidays preparations so you can enjoy the long holiday weekend without any job-related deadlines hanging over your head. This is also a very social day, both personally and professionally.

On Saturday we get an energetic opportunity that is good to take some time before the holidays for anything from the arts to practical matter of for connecting with others. By the evening the vibes are harmonious and a lovely time to tap into that feeling of being blessed and grateful.

On Sunday is our big day here in Sweden and the day we celebrate Christmas. This day comes with busy and industrious vibes, so for those of you who celebrate Christmas on the 25’th you will have a lot of energy to get everything sorted in time. For us who celebrates on the 24’th we’ll get an upbeat vibe with and OBS to remember to fit in also those calm and peaceful moments that comes with Christmas.

This week I've used the oracle cards I used a bit of a different deck that I was given by a friend when I moved from Stockholm to the island. I love it and its’ called Dragon Oracle Cards by Diana Coopers.

*My take on this card for the week – This is one of my favourite card in the deck and I call on these dragon energy every now and then. I feel it is especially nice to connect to this energy around the solstice. As we shift season and the sun is standing still in the sky for a few days (or so it feels) a lovely time to review the year, and reconnect with this protective and clearing energy by your side. Why not call upon the energy every night this week for it to do its work when you sleep.
